Advising

Pre-law advising is housed in the Philosophy Department and conducted by Dr. Ángel Ruiz Blanco and Dr. Rebecca Chan. All students and alumni interested in pursuing a legal career can reach out to Dr. Ruiz Blanco and Dr. Chan to schedule an individual pre-law appointment (see contact information below). They can also be added to the pre-law mailing list and asynchronous Canvas course.

Minor

Dr. Ruiz Blanco and Dr. Chan will also be happy to help students pick courses in Philosophy, Justice Studies, Political Science, World Languages and Communications which directly relate to legal issues and theory.
