
Common Ground: November 3 - December 4, 2026
Common Ground: Selections from the San José State University Art Collection brings together historic and contemporary works by artists who have studied, taught, or been visiting artists at San José State University, including Rupert Garcia, Herbert Sanders, Leroy Wheeler Parker, Catalina Garcia, C5, and June Wayne. Spanning ceramics, painting, printmaking, and digital projection, the exhibition explores how materials shape ideas and connects artists across generations and media. Together, the works consider social, political, and cultural questions while creating space for inquiry and dialogue.

Hammer2 Gallery: Texturescapes (July 18 - November 3, 2026)
The Hammer2 Gallery features a continuously rotating display featuring the work from local artists and San José State University alumni. This exhibition brings together the work of nine artists: Meghna Sharma, Nikhil Dev, Dee Mostofi, Irman Arcibal, Craig Scoffone, Michelle Frey, Jen Clarke, Lisa Heikka-Huber, Leila Ensaniat. Working in a variety of media, the artists invite the viewer into a Texturescape of color, pattern, and thought.
